Halloween!

I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t get any good shots of the boys in their costumes. I’ll have to see if my Father in Law got any. I did take one or two on my point and shoot but haven’t uploaded them yet. Wafe were so crazy on Halloween that we just started carving our pumpkins at 4/5pm right as we were trying to get ready for trick or treating! We did have a GREAT night though, kids playing out with all the neighbors and the adults hanging out until the wee hours of the morning. :)

We’ve been pretty warm here, but had quite the cold spell yesterday! The high was around 64 and the low got into the 40’s! The dogs didn’t want to go out the door this morning. We still took our trip to the dog park though and decided to stop off for something to keep us warm (well most of us). The little one decided that next time he will get the hot chocolate like mom suggested.

Wardrobe Wednesday!

A couple of blogs I love to visit participate in Wardrobe Wednesday. There’s even a Flickr group for it. My wardrobe is fairly boring, but I do have a little man in the family who LOVES clothes. He chose a new shirt over a new DVD at Target the other day. He’d like to point out that you can’t see it very well, but his shoes have fire on them.

We’ll have to retry the pumpkin head shot, didn’t turn out quite right! I hope you all are more ready for Halloween than I am. We do have the candy and costumes, but I still need to iron on a patch, make a hat, figure out shoes and a clasp, get wings, something to keep me warm, and figure out what we’re making for the neighborhood potluck and somehow figure out how to do all of this while making lasagna for 30+ people on Friday night. Oh well, I think I thrive on stress. Happy Hump Day!

A cure for allergies | Alternative allergy CURE (not just a treatment)

Ok, on a serious note. I’m sure someone in your family or someone close to you is affected by allergies. My oldest son had some pretty bad food allergies when he was younger as well as some very severe environmental allergies. He was on 4 medications a day to relieve his symptoms and we had to take an ER trip several times for allergy induced croup. We studied and tried many alternative treatments/cures with only marginal success. I was not going to put my baby through thousands of needles to maybe improve his allergies.

We also have close friends with incredibly severe allergies to wheat, dairy, soy to the point that even a small amount made him miserable.

Without telling you the long story, we all found Dr. Foster at Advanced Chiropractic and Allergy Relief. Dr. Foster uses a system that is used all over the world unfortunately not widely used here although I am seeing it pop up more and more.

I won’t go into the specifics and I will tell you that my husband was very skeptical as well, but if you have a child with allergies or you yourself suffers from ANY prolonged symptoms that you don’t even know are related to allergies (chronic IBS, Eczema etc) PLEASE at least consider finding this treatment in your area.

My son is CURED of his allergies. We just finished up (he had to be re treated for dust because we found some more tiny allergens) but he just stopped taking his medicine and you would never know how severe this childs allergies were. My friend’s son can now eat wheat, dairy, soy - whatever he wants with NO ill effects. Even if you are skeptical what do you have to lose? A little money? You have everything to gain, total health and freedom from medications.

I am not being paid for this (as it might sound LOL) I just want everyone to realize that they do not have to live with allergies. We wouldn’t accept that he had to take medication for the rest of his life or to have to avoid any food we didn’t have a label for, and you shouldn’t either. If you aren’t in AZ take a look at this website to find a treatment near you.

Feel free to message me on here with any questions, I can also give you any info on all the people I have seen cured. Or you can call Dr. Foster’s office and leave a message with your address for a free DVD with a little bit of info on the system. I just realized how long this is, and I probably won’t talk about it much but I believe you at least owe it to yourself to check it out.

Man I had totally forgotten how much energy puppies have! Especially if we’ve been gone a long day we get home and Kona just wants to play like crazy. Tonight we walked to the dog park (about a mile and a quarter) unfortunately no dogs to play with so we ran back. I tripped over a raised piece of sidewalk, luckily she didn’t laugh at me. We got home and she was STILL wanting to play. Next time we’re waiting at the dog park until someone comes to play with! Meanwhile 11 year old Jade would MUCH rather take a leisurely walk around the neighborhood occasionally thinking about chasing a rabbit, but ultimately deciding that it would be too hard on her body. She’d much rather sneak up on the chair and sleep while we’re gone. I love her calmness and Kona’s craziness - just in different ways!

Homemade Fall Decorations | Kids Halloween Craft

My kids LOVE making things, but being the busy boys that they are I usually end up finishing them because they don’t want to sit long enough to finish.
