Monday, January 18, 2010 I’m in sort of a photo slump. I’ll get out of it, I always do. I thought I’d share some of my favorite blogs/sites that I frequent.
Studio Calico - best scrapbook club around in my opinion. My sister in law was asking me where I find all the cute scrapbook paper that I have. I don’t find it but Studio Calico does, they put together amazing kits every month.

Ashley Ann Photography Blog - Ashely is so creative, I am always getting crafty inspiration from her!
Tara Whitney - such a gorgeous photography style
Ali Edwards - so famous in the scrapbooking world
Design Aglow Blog - both their blog and site are so gorgeous - incredible photographer products.
Graphic Exchange - gorgeous collection of graphic design inspiration
Amanda Johnson’s Blog - love love her scrapbook style
Jay Reilly’s Blog - I have always loved his photography
Love. Obsess. Inspire. - gorgeous inspiration - free printable goodies!

Promise Tangeman Blog - Love her
Purple Nickel Studio - they are awesome photographers out of Tucson

Pink Sugar Photography - some of her stuff just blows me away
There are so many more! Maybe I’ll share them sometime. Sorry there are no new pictures today.
Tuesday, January 12, 2010 Since I shared a couple from my hallway, I thought I’d share a few more. I just added a few from our recent family session to this display in the great room.

I thought I had shared this one before but I guess not! This is a display in our front room the pictures / frames are 19 3/4” x 19 3/4”. I have no clue what I’m doing with this room. For now our old dining table is in there and the boys mostly use it for games, coloring, playing on.

This is obviously completely in progress. This is above the couch in the front room where the boys play. They picked the starfish so I wanted to have them in this room. Not sure what else I’m going to put up there or what is going in those frames.

And this is our bedroom. The bed is really tall and covers up most of the Ikea headboard - not really the point of the headboard, but it’s what I have for now. I also want to add something up above those 2 windows, not curtains, but something.

And here are the cute little plant things (technical term) I made up to put in the bathroom and a quick little view of the mirrors I painted to replace the giant original mirror that I broke while painting.

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 For those of you who don’t know or aren’t sure “365” just refers to the photo a day challenge that many photographers and scrappers take on each year. If you are doing this challenge or if you are taking part in my February challenge, and want to digitally or even hybrid scrapbooking the challenge I highly recommend you check out Oscraps. They have amazing digital scrapbook pages, elements, and templates!
I really like this new series they are doing concentrating on the 365 project. They just came out with version 2
They are these amazing templates to insert your images. You can use any digital elements you have to spruce them up, or print them out and add your own paper elements for a hybrid page. I always love checking out the site and be sure to check out the freebie section too!
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 Ok so looking at this first page has made me realize that it is definitely winter here, there are no natural light photos! The day is too short for me. Most of my photos are taken around 6pm or so and this time of year it’s too dark (and cold to me) for that. Expect some new NATURAL light photos from me soon, I need to freshen up this first page!
If you are a photographer or hobbyist or just want a fun photo challenge, I started a group on Flickr. I haven’t been able to successfully complete a 365 day challenge so I thought I’d start a challenge that maybe I can actually complete. My ego is suffering a little, I need to accomplish something! Anyway, the challenge is to take a photo every day in February of something you love. February is the month of love after all. If you’d like to play along come join the group over at Flickr and get ready to post a photo every day in February!
